My first Post

Hi all,

the start of a new year and I've decided to jump on the blogging band wagon. I don't really have a plan for this blog other than using it to waffle about my hobby of wargaming, show of some of my painted miniatures and maybe throw in the odd review of wargames products I buy.

Last year saw me getting heavily into Ak-47 and Back of Beyond/WW1/RCW projects, this year I'm sure that trend will continue first up this year however is a foray into ancients. Thanks to some nice presents at Christmas I find myself with a big pile of 28mm plastic Romans and Celts from Wargames Factory and Warlord Games. The plan is to build two armies to use with the Crusader ancient rules. Hopeful over the next few weeks (months) I'll post some pictures as the project takes shape.

    Jon,

    I've got the Crusader rules and, should you need an opponent, I'd be happy to try them out once you've finished your Celts and Romans.

    Jim,
    is there a set of rules you don't have? I might well take you up on the offer. At the moment though I'm starring at a lot of grey plastic sprues so it will be a few months.
